I only had time to make one

Halloween skirt that is.

I was planning on making a few Halloween skirts, but then I was chosen to be on CWTS and I only had time to make one lone custom skirt before the crazy flurry of competition began.    I am not complaining :)  I love being on Crafting with the Stars.  Let's hope I have a few more weeks of craziness ahead.

Anywho this is the one custom skirt I was able to make.  It is for a 3 year old girl.  Her mommy asked me to make a fun double layer strip-work skirt with a ruffle on the bottom layer.

This is what I came up with.

  1. Can't wait to show this to my 14 year old. She can't figure out how to dress for an upcoming Halloween Dance at her school. We might attempt something like this with a black tulle under skirt. Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. Love, love, love it!!! Adorable! Go here: http://thehouseofwhimsy.blogspot.com/2008/11/tons-of-fun-weekend.html
to see the ones I made in Spring colors.
    SEW fun! : )

  3. This is seriously too cute!!!! I love all the patterns....my girls would love this!

  4. Do you think that this is something an adult could wear? Because I kind of love this!

  5. This is too cute! I hope you'll add this link to my Wickedly Creative Halloween Ideas Party!

  6. Completely darling! My daughter would love this!! Sometimes I wish I could dress like a 4-year old. :)

  7. Why do I only have boys?... I do have nieces though :) Thanks for sharing. Love it. I'm a new member of your site for sure. Can't wait for more.

  8. This. Is. SOOOOOOOOOOOO. Cute! Love it. :)
