I have to say I do like the end result. When I finally finished it my model was not very happy about the idea of taking pictures. I think if we had been in court I would have been able to have it go on record that she was a hostile witness. :)
I didn't originally envision it with capris (Emma insisted on wearing them), but I think it is a good look.
Originally I was going to do the yoke in the same fabric as the dress, but then I decided to go with somethign a little different. I also used blue thread. I love the pop of color. (because this dress really needed a pop of color.)
Did I mention this dress was my first zipper. I don't know why I was afraid if zippers all this time. I probaly did it wrong, but I think it looks good AND it closes the dress in the back so I am happy with it.
