As you can hopefully tell Garrett wanted a jet themed cake for his birthday this year. I was a little surprised at how much I suck a sculpting a jet out of fondant. In the end I think it turned out ok, but it took WAY longer than it should. And in case you are wondering I did take the tooth picks out of it before I delivered it. By the way the clouds are made out of royal icing and I love them. Just use like a 5 tip and make little clustered swirls.
I am still trying to get the hang of properly stacking topsy turvy cakes. I need to remember to have the top cake slant across the bottom cake not away from the bottom cake.
Minnie was also a little tricky to sculpt, but I think it took me less time to do than that jet. I think from now on if anyone wants a jet cake there will be like a $1 million sanity charge.

Great cakes!!!!!!!!!! They are PERFECT.
