It is a lot of brown and black.
So here is the new room:
LOVE IT! First of all there is the molding on the wall. I did it all by myself. It was my first time doing molding and my first time using a saw. It was awesome! I really want power tools. Once I cut the molding I started to think..."Ummm, what else can I cut." More to come. Oh and look I put pictures the the frames. I would have thought it would have been weeks before I did that.
Then there is the chair. I bought myself this chair for my birthday. Happy Birthday to ME! For those of you who are wondering I got it on Overstock along with some new 450 thread count sheets. Seriously, I love their cheap shipping and they are the best place to get nice sheet for like $40 instead of like $100.
I really like the little piece of molding I did under the TV. Ahhh cute.
I know you already saw this, but I just like to look at it.
And here is a long shot. Yup, I took all those pictures and the whole time my boys were playing Wii, there was a tent in the middle of the room, and a birthday balloon was wondering through the room. The best thing about the new room is how bright and cheery the room looks now. I think we are going to finish it up on Saturday (minus the need of more accessories and pillows; those will have to wait).
Cross your fingers, I really want this project done.
It's looking awesome! And for a crappy camera your pictures look great to me! Hope you get to finish it up and cross it off your list soon.

ReplyDeleteKelly- I made the curtains. I believe the fabric is Harmony by Diversitex. If you google that you should be able to find some.
ReplyDeleteAaack! I've been eyeballing that chair for MONTHS! Can you tell me what color of green it actually is? Celery? Avocado? Something else entirely?
